Some of the Typhon you need to scan will prove troublesome to find given that enemies are randomly generated inside the simulation. Fortunately, it has a fixed location: on the workshop floor in Riley Yu's office. Riley Yu will always have a Psychoscope in her default loadout, but in order to equip this item with other characters during the Loadout Menu (it costs 1,000 Sim Points), you will need to find its fabrication plan on the Moonbase. What makes this even more tedious is that some of the abilities for each character require specific Typhon enemies to be scanned with the Psychoscope. If this sounds interesting to you, I think trying mooncrash would be a good decision.This will be the most time-consuming achievement in Mooncrash given the fact that you need over 300 Neuromods in order to unlock/install every ability for all five characters. Runs are definitely less than an hour if you aren’t intentionally turning back time to loiter around. So, you could get a shotgun at the beginning without having to find it. When selecting another character you can use them to get items you collected fabrication plans for at the start. When you die or escape, what you did in the run (like how many typhon you killed” is summed up and you receive sim points. This megacorp gives you orders like “unlock all characters” “do all character missions” “find all escape ways” and challenges, like “kill a voltaic mimic with a wrench”. It all happens in a simulation that a hacker hired by a megacorp that is a transtar rival uses to collect data from a transtar moon base. If all availaible characters die or escape, or you use a button that becomes availaible later in the game, the “simulation” resets, basically the corruption level is 1 again, no one escaped or died yet, no items were taken, no typhon killed, etc. You unlock characters by various means and you find ways to escape by exploring. The way runs work is that you have several characters and several ways to escape. So if you have a lot of it, you can finish a run while still on lvl 1. ![]() There is an item you can get later on that rewinds the timer, but doesn’t rewind the corruption level. ![]() Each lvl is longer i think, but it makes the game harder. When some time passes it increases, say to lvl 2. It’s quite different from the base game, there is a timer, yeah, but the main thing you should worry about it not running out of time but corruption level.
